I am very disappointed with the poor fuel consumption. My last 520D M Sport MT was delivering 43mpg no mapper how hard I drove it. Does anyone think the consumption will improve with time? Its hard to imagine it improving much to be honest.

I hope it improves. Not to depress you further but I drive my F11 530d about 25 mins each way to work and back and that combined with other mixed urban cycles has resulted in computer showing a 37.9 mpg average and I don't drive it with economy in mind plenty of right foot prods going on
mway driving I get about 45-47 mpg on long run.
