Anyone running non-OE TPMS?

Hey folks,

I am preparing to purchase new wheels but plan on keeping my Stock rims as winters. As my title states, wondering if anyone is running non-OE/OEM HUF TPMS on their wheels. If so, any issues? Have tried researching on here with little success. Looks like the stock TPMS are 433mhz but is this the only criteria in purchasing? Tirerack seems to have some 433mhz that fit my 550 but just checking to see what folks are using. TIA

I'm running Costco sensors in our 2012. No issues as long as you get the correct frequency sensors.

YMMV

As long as it's 433, it'll be fine. You might lose temperature sensing and only get pressure though.

Interesting...didn't know we had a temp reading. I ended up getting some from Ebay that appear to be from HUF. We'll see how it goes.

Thanks folks!

Temp reading can be coded if supported by the sensor

you'll need to reset TPMS in your car to detect sensors in new wheels
