Ctek US3300 charge mode for 2014 F10
Hi guys,
For any of you guys who use ctek trickle charger. Which mode normal 14.4 or AGM 14.7 are you guys using. Thanks in advance for your advise. Takeshi |

I have no idea. The dealer installed a BMW approved charger as part of the PDI (not sure of the brand) and it will trickle until the battery is near full, switch to "float" and then back to charge as necessary. There is a charge port with a spring loaded cover mounted under the front bumper. Our cars have AGM batteries if that helps.

Get a battery tender junior (this what BMW rebrands as their own) or a BatteryMINDer 1500 which is generally regarded as better charger due to the desulfator technology that restores and extends battery life.

Not sure if the 3300 operates the same but I have the 7002 and I have it set at 14.7 volt (snow flake icon) which is supposed to be good for cold batteries and AGM batteries but apparently not all. The manual says consult with your battery manufacturer.
I've used this charger on this setting for three years since my car was new. I've never had a low battery warning or any other issues with my battery so I'm happy If my car is going to sit for a day or two which happens often, I keep it on the charger. |
