Leak down test results
Here we go boys…
1 5% - pistons 5 6% - pistons 3 5% - pistons 6 5% - pistons 2 20-40% exhaust port front valve, back valve good 4 7% - pistons What are your thoughts… considering my next steps This was done on a cold motor so I expected to see some leakage from the valve cover since the piston rings weren't expanded and warm but that front exhaust valve is definitely leaky… I know the motor isn't 100% but is it good enough to go on until I can rebuild a replacement? I did not do a compression test and went straight to the leak down because the car has no turbo on it so I cannot turn it over… |
