The 550i M sport bumper and the M5 bumpers are similar but the mounting points on some items such as the OEM comfort sensor need to be remounted in order to fit properly when you retrofit the M5 bumper to your car. Some folks buy the M5 OEM sensor holder/attachment and mount it while others move the sensor someplace else and then refit everything. Be advised tho you will likely need to move your exhausts tips too as well and may need a new exhaust also. This is because many of the exhausts for the 550i are rather large and do not fit to allow the rear tips to move far enough inboard to then exit the M5 rear diffuser's Quad openings. Many have found that out the hard way [search the forum..multiple posts on both issues] and had to either retrofit a new smaller exhaust, procure an M5 exhaust, or go back to OEM or purchase a new aftermarket rear diffuser for the F10 550 to make things fit.
