1) more torque so that a modest use of the gas pedal, particularly at highway speeds gets you moving ; 2) from a start you really notice the pulling power even when not at WOT; and 3) the sensation of a "flat spot" is lessened as the car moves into taller gears.

yes i bought the jb4 for my car with **********s. They have a black friday sale and it brings down the cost. It works fine. No issues here. Looking at your production date, i believe its harness A that you need to purchase. I went directly to stage 2 and skipped stage 1.

Btw, on their official site, they have four options for the harness: Harness A, Harness B, f10 Type A, F10 Type B. Does **********s distinguish between an f10 and any other car? Also, I heard you can program it so it switches maps when you switch between regular transmission and sport/sport+ (gets more aggresive from regular to Sport+). |

It is not as customize-able for the f10 as it is for 335 N55. You don't get the dashboard/wheel controls. You can only customize it through a computer. Not enough f10 N55's are using this, so they are not devoting time to developing for the f10. So it is up to us to "convince" them to develop the f10 firmware further.

For clarification. I emailed Jeff at Burger Tuning last week and he verified that Stage 1 will need to be purchased in addition to the stage 2 upgrade if you want to run stage 2 right away. There is also a USB datalogging cable specific to the device in order to get updates, map changes, etc for $35. Its $599 total for the Stage 1, stage 2 upgrade and the USB cable. The Stage 1 has specific wires to install the device before stage 2 can be wired in.
I have 9/10 production date, so I will be using harness A for my 2011 535. I believe both stages will still need to be purchased for newer models as well. |
