I never manage to get better than 17 MPG on my M3.

You are giving it some then. How does the 550i M Sport feel power wise compared to the M3?.

no one mod can void a warranty, the Magnusson-Moss Act basically states that your warranty can't be voided unless they can prove that your aftermarket part directly caused the failure of the part being claimed for warranty work. An example: They can't blame your aftermarket exhaust for your iDrive failing. granted you said powertrain i dont really believe that and extra 90 hp could cause huge problems on much especially since BMW's Dinan causes more stress (extra 5 hp) and they are covered?
