Exhaust tips removal, measurements

Tried to yank it off, but didn't want to rip the whole muffler off, so use some WD40 with the straw. Squirt some in between the tip and pipe from behind, twist it a little and it will come off easily.

The tip is slanted cut circular, external 73mm diameter, 98mm long.
The attachment pipe is circular ~64mm. (Its larger on the outside, the narrower part close to muffler is ~55mm.)

Garage List
are you just gonna leave it like that or do you plan to paint them, or something else?

Yes, looking at tips. Check it out:

Actually i like it better now without the tips on .. perhaps just because its different. Everytime I remove some chrome, the car seems to improve aesthetically.

One idea was to rotate the tip 90degrees to the right, so the high part of the slant is on the right (and no longer on the top), which follows perfectly with the shape rounded bumper.
But the pipe has a 1cm ridge on the lip which latches with the hooks inside the tip, so to get a good fit you would have to cut the pipe to fit the slant..

I would like to paint, but I lack the 'technology' to carry it out. Perhaps if I happen by a paint shop that has suitable high-temp paints.. would try to figure it out

Anyone have luck using the taobao site quoted above? I can't read Chinese, but I've found some tips that I'd like to buy.

No idea how to proceed though!

Thanks in advance,

-Eddie
