Eisenmann RACE guys.... - Any regrets?
I'm debating on which exhaust setup i want for my 535xi F10 and narrowing it down to the Arqray, Eisenmann Race or Sport exhausts.
Arqray sounds the quietest from all the videos i've heard. Almost stock quiet Sport sounds alittle louder than the Arqray with alittle more popping and burble. Race sounds very nice but i'm wondering if it will be too loud? I'm sure the F10 has quite a bit more sound insulating materials than my E90 has but i am curious to know how this exhaust sounds from the INSIDE cabin? Any droning? My current car has a decently loud exhaust now which i love since its a 6mt but i don't want the F10 to sound as loud but yet have a nice deep rumble when you get on it. The Eisenmann RACE for the N54 335 is too loud for me but seems to be more tame for the F10. Alan

I have the Eisenmann Race, love it. No regrets. Some drone at highway cruising speeds but it doesn't bother me. (70 mph you can hear it). Dropping a gear obviously helps, with the higher rpm, penalty of less efficiency.

I have the Eisnenmann Race on my 535. I absolutely love the loudness of it and think it's at just the right level for an everyday driving car which the driver wishes to have a performance/sport sound. I notice a small amount of drone around 2300 RPM on the highway, as Mercury said you can change gears and eliminate it. I have about 700 miles on the exhaust so it has not fully broken in yet.
I have never regretted my choice at any point and would highly recommend it.

I have the race and like it alot, it did drone between 1600-2000rpm at partial throttle but I replaced the secondary cats with resonators and that took care of the drone.

Very interesting! Does it really help? Did it become quiet or completely gone? I really want to get the race exhaust but worrying about the drone. Don't want to get annoyed by it...

I just placed order for Eisenmann Race. My brother has Race version and sounds really great. Definitely u have to go with Race. Race is not really loud at all. Its perfect sound for our luxury sports seden car. All after market exhaust will drone little bit. Except Meisterschaft valve control exhaust.

Thanks for posting a video, I have been debating if I should go with an exhaust or not. Your video has convicted me to move forward. A quick question, does the sport version drone? How much louder is it in the cabin? |
