Lowering springs 0,4-0,8"

Anybody knows if there are some springs that lows the car only between 0,4-0,8 in (1-2 cm).

ACS lowers the car 1". I think Dinan springs lowers the car even less than that. Any less its not even worth doing since even 1" is already very subtle.

ACS lowered my 550i much more that 1", so my next lowering springs will be Dinan since I think that will be perfect. I've had H&Rs, RDs, and ACS, and they all underestimate their drop rate -- H&R being the worst.

I have a H&R sport springs on my 550i, and wish they made a race set. My front is the perfect drop while my rear has .5"-.75" of gap that I wish wasn't there.

I wish they made coilovers for the DHP suspension.

2 ways,

If just the spring, your only choice is BMW oem mtech springs, lowered by 10mm front and back. Don't know how it feels with original struts as it meant for mtech (msport) struts.

Else, you need to go for kw suspension set. With kw v3, I managed to get my front lowered by 20mm, rear at 10mm. I believe you could go even higher (less drop) with kw comfort suspension set.

So far, I think the ACS drop and ride is perfect on my 2012 550i M-Sport. There is still a wheel/fender gap front and rear so the car does not look ghetto/slammed.

Also, note that the improvement in handling by adding springs (flatter cornering, more connected, not floaty, sloppy and loose like stock) is due to: (a) stiffer springs; and (b) lower ride height and lower center of gravity. So you might want to keep your goals in mind when and if you make any changes in the springs.

On a 528i xdrive, ACS lowers it only by 3/4" at most. It is a bit more on the 550. You can check out my build thread for the 528i (the last few pics).

It does improve ride and handling greatly.
