There is power misssing in that engine! No way it has 381PS/740Nm.
My heavy ( 2075kg ) 550ix did the 0-100 in 4.7s. With just over 400PS and much less torque than the M550d.
I think there is around 50PS missing?

use a second gear launch start in m2 no wheel spin and can stage at higher rpm then the car will go back to m1 automaticly and get ready for m2 and it will shave some time maybe if you wantyou can do the m3 but if your car can reach 60 mph in second probably do 5 secs or better!!!!I have don it many times and it works!!!check my videos

This car weighs 2 tons and has X-drive, so there is no wheel spin issues. But I'll try.

Exactly! I think you are pulling the max performance out of it.
Tell your dealer there is power missing. I know there are issues with this engines power output.

My friend tested his M550d against a 535d xDrive. Pulling from 50-200km/h only 1-2 car lenghts difference in favour of the M550d.

Should be more I think!?

It's not my car. It's a BMW PRESS CAR. I help to test/review cars.

Garage List
unless everything documented about the car is a lie, there's something not right.

I've heard the same story: the gap 535d-m550d is disappointingly small IRL.
Not really worth the money.
