Question Time Setting

Should selection of the 'London etc' time zone provide automatic correction of the time, or do you still have to manually set the the time for daylight saving?

In these very expensive, hi-tech cars you still have to manually reset, but you don't have to do so on a 50 quid DAB radio - something not quite right there

I agree something not quite right there, inconsistent with a really nice car, and it also begs the question what the time zone input in 'Settings' is used for, if anything? You mention DAB radio and I did check if switching on the DAB radio (optional extra) in the car would re-set the time, but it didn't. Oh well!

At least the F10 keeps decent time. The E60 clock used to drift over time...

The reason why the BMW DAB doesn't automatically keep time is that it costs 350, if you want a proper radio that does everything you'd expect from a bit of modern technology, you have to spend 50 .

Time Zone settings

Does anyone know if the time zone input in 'Settings' is a redundant feature, if not, what does it do?
