20 Inch Rim Help

I am going down the road of buying some new Rims for my F10 X-Drive from another forum member, and had a few questions regarding ride quality and where I go from here.

Questions:
1) Will there be any rubbing in the tires?
2) Since I have AWD I will be un-able to rotate the tires I place on these rims, will that cause these tires to cup or wear away quicker then normal?

3) will my speed be correct since I am going up a size? I am coming off the stock rims/tires

Any guidance is very helpful, this is my first round with ever replacing rims with bigger ones/different ones.

LINK: What rims I am buying. Ty Again Wvin---http://f10.5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=748998

Thank you very much,
PGH

Those are nice wheels man. Putting those 20's on your ride wont be a big deal. Speed will be correct ect. Not sure about tire wear since I don't have AWD but someone else on here will know that. They wont rub but the ride will be a little bumpier going to a bigger rim. Most guys on here are running 20's like myself. Just put the right tires on there. Most run 245/35/20 in front and 285/30/20 on the rear. Enjoy and hook up some pics!

Hello. because you have Xdrive I do not recommend aftermarket wheels. Bmw has many 20" rims to choose from. Originally and used 275 rear tire on Xdrive.

I agree I put 20 AC Schnitzer on mine and have had an issue with traction control and a tugging sensation on acceleration. Take the wheels off problem goes away. you should be ok if you use 4 identical tires and rims even if up a size and lower in profile. if you stagger on an x drive the small difference in profile height will translate to a different rolling distance for one revolution of the tire comparing the front to the rear. Some cars may pick this up as wheel spin and apply the brake.

What tire size did you use?
