To me putting on a M5 badge is 10000x worse than a car with M5 parts on it without the badge.

Would i go and make my F10 look identical to a M5? no i wouldn't but would i slap on some M5 parts like the trunk lip or diffuser? sure because it looks awesome and it enhances my car.

Theres a kid by me with a white E60 528 that tries so hard to be a M5 but failed dramatically. He has the M5 badges on it and all. Now it looks like he has a F10 535 msport so lets hope he doesn't slap some M5 badges on that too. I would seriously leave him a note if he did because he would make us normal f10er's look bad.

LOL. This is why i dont agree with the QUAD exhaust on a 535i... if you really want quad just go M5.... or simply upgrade to a better DUAL exhaust..

quad exhaust automatically equates to m5 wannabe? So in other words, to qualify for quad exhaust one has to shell out another 40-50k for the honor of such distinction

That logic is strange......what does quad exhaust have to do with M5? Lots of cars comes with quads not just the M5 or big V8's. Going M5 is only another 30-40K extra...

The E46 M3 with an inline 6 making a measly 333hp had quads too.

I agree with you.....his logic is flawed. If I bought a 550 and slapped quads on it.....although it already comes with something very close to quads, is he an M5 wannabe? Not at all. But this is all coming from a guy driving the F10 535i with quad remus haha. Who knows.
