I just came across this post, trying to find a DIY, and love the way the car looks. I was wondering if you new the best way to remove the painted strips in which the roof rails can be attached?

They are just clipped in. Start at the bottom of the front windshield and un clip. Work your way all the way to the back window leaving it in place till the last clip. Hope that helps.

Start pulling up in the front and you will see them.

I am going to Vigg early next week. I had a question, do they also vinyl the roof rack that goes down along the windshield as well? I have Alpine white and want to have that black

from what i see in the pics it looks like it is black but was just curious if they did that without you requesting it.

Please let me know

Sorry I was very busy at work, I dont know if you went to Vigg yet. All you have to do is tell them what you want they will do it for you.
They are very accomodating.
