Sport+ auto disables when cold?

Hi There, was testing SPORT+ setting (rocker switch), and after a few hundred metres it popped back to SPORT, I kept trying repeatedly and same thing happened...

It was 3C so can only think it was protection as the tyres and engine were cold? I wasn't racing or revving, just driving normally (obviously not to damage the engine etc.)

Any ideas if this is normal.... I should try again when engine is warm to see if that's it...

+1

I often drive mine in Sport+ mode in freezing temperatures. She never pops out.

Hi, Yes I often use cruise, even around town to avoid getting photographs taken by the lovely yellow boxes on the side of the road...

I'll try again and see if that's the cause

In Sport+, activating the cruise takes you down to Sport. If you're in Sport with the cruise on and switch to Sport+, it disengages the cruise control.

Can I ask the obvious, why would you want sport+ when cruising along with cruise control? What about sport+, particularly DTC (as that is what sport+ adds to sport) are you wanting in those conditions?
