♛ ONEighty° NYC ♛ Cosmetic Customization SHOP ➨ ➨ Daily Log

Whats up guys,

Most of you know us for the custom headlights we build, but there is more to us than just headlights, and I figured I'd let you guys in on what happens at our shop on daily basis. I would like to share with you the vehicles that come to our shop, the types of parts and products that arrive at our location, and all the other cool shit we do here at ONEighty on daily basis.

Brief description about us...

ONEighty° specializes in detailed automotive lighting modification and exterior styling. New York City based and managed by three full time car enthusiasts, each with the skill to provide top of the line service and knowledge to automotive fanatics looking to improve their vehicle’s look and feel. Our work is based on customer’s value in form and function, to suit the needs of many different age groups, while providing mail order service to clients looking to get unique headlight modifications from all across the world.

We take extreme pride in our work, and will go above and beyond to assure that our customers and clients are satisfied. We are constantly researching and staying up to date with the latest trends and styles, and will never recommend anything to a customer that either we, or true enthusiasts wouldn't approve of.

Our specialty began with Infiniti & Nissan vehicles 6 years ago. When we moved to our current location 2 years ago and gained a great asset to our team, we began working on BMW. We now consider our selves BMW, Infiniti & Nissan specialists when it comes to basic modifications & styling upgrades.

If you happen to see something in this thread that you don't like... its probably because we tried our best to convince the customer against it, and at the end, the customer always get what they want.

We are located in Brooklyn, just a few minutes away from Coney Island, or the Belt Parkway.

2390 Mcdonald Ave
Brooklyn, NY. 11223
347.821.6176
Email: info@180custom.com

All work is by appointment only, even if its a simple request. We are booked for days, sometimes weeks in advance. For us to retain a stress free work environment, we ask all customers to schedule an appointment, even for consultation.

Our hours for operation are:
M-F: 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM
SAT: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
SUN: CLOSED

Here is a shot of the front of our shop:

We're not huge, being in the heart of Brooklyn, rent is EXPENSIVE. Our space comfortably accommodates 2 vehicles that we can work on at a time. We also have a decent size showroom/office that will comfortably sit 4 people, with Verizon FIOS TV/Wifi & XBox.

=============================================
Here is a list of what ONEighty can offer you.
  • Custom Headlight Modifications
  • Tinting & Vinyl Services
  • Misc Exterior Installations (Hide Away Plates, Spoilers, Lips, Diffusers, Skirts)

  • Exhaust Installation & Modification
  • Tuning & Coding

  • Exhausts
  • Intakes
  • ECU Tunes
  • Brakes
  • Wheels & Tires

In some cases, intensive mechanical work is performed by techs who are qualified to work on BMW's, with over 20 years experience in German vehicles.

If any work is outsourced, we will notify the customer, and assure them that the work is performed by qualified technicians who will guarantee outstanding work. We collaborate with some of the greatest people, and shops to provide the results we would only want for ourselves. We are extremely meticulous with who we work with to not jeopardize our excellent reputation which we worked so hard to maintain.

We are dealers for some of the biggest brands in the industry and having established a great relationship with some many shops across the country, we can ultimately obtain any part you desire.

We treat our customers like our friends, we'll bullshit with you, and only give you the best advice because we're car guys, just like you. My team consists of BMW owners, a LS2 V8 swapped G35 Coupe, and a S2000. When we have time, we drive & work on our own cars like the rest of you do. We attend meets & events all across the North Eastern region. We love what we do, and we're extremely passionate about it, we don't just do it for the money... its the passion for cars that brought us together, and built this shop from our bedrooms to where it is today. We're young, passionate, and ready to set new boundaries.

Feel free to ask any questions in the thread, shoot me a Private Message, give us a call or shoot us an email. We try to respond ASAP.

I'll make sure to keep this thread updated on daily basis, if its not with DSLR quality photos, it might be a photo straight off instagram because I wanted to provide a real time update.

Can you guys do a light smoke (cherry) the taillights via paint?

Not interested in using vinyl as that looks cheap. Want a very minor smoke/cherry look like the factory AMG cars. I am local and could drop off the lights.

This is the exact look i am after...

1) Have you guys done this before?
2) How much is it?
3) What is the turn around time?

Thanks!
Alan

Hi -

1) What do you charge for an ACS springs install on a 535i w/ Sport Package and does the back seats have to be removed to do it? Can you source the springs as well? In which case how much total?

2) How much to paint the grilles and the fins in glossy black? Same look/ finish as the M Performance black grilles.

3) Also, can you import the OEM BMW White Lines Tail Lights?
Looking to put together a group-buy: 10 cars.
It is very likely some will buy more parts/ services from you while they are it.

1) We don't actually do spring installs, but we can recommend you to go somewhere in our area or you can just leave the car and we will bring it their ourselves. There are about 2 shops we trust for our spring installs all within 3 blocks of our shop. We can also purchase the springs for you.

2) We charge $150 w/ installation on the kidney grilles all in gloss black

3) We can import the taillights, if you can get a group buy going for 10 sets I would do $600 a set shipped anywhere in the US.

Thanks
