http://www.bmw-sg.com/forums/attachm...-lip-f10-1.jpg
http://www.bmw-sg.com/forums/attachm...on-lip-f10.jpg Anyone have this 3D style Carbon Fibre Front Lip fitted onto their NON-M SPORT F10s. Please post your pictures if you have this fitted. I have a Deep Sea Blue car and want to know how it look on a any blue or dark coloured car. Thanks in advance. (I could not find any photos of this lip on actual owners cars except those of ones fitted on WEB/EBAY sellers pages) Thanks in advance. |

I order one earlier this week and I'm supposed to receive it next week so I'll post the pictures after the installation. The one I ordered is not CF but it should give you an idea of how it will look like. I was quoted $150 for the paint job and free installation.

Wow, I was quoted $270 for paint work and $120 for installation for the bumper lip -- which includes a 10% discount. Time to find another shop!

Mine isn't the carbon fiber one but should able to give you an idea how it looks in general.
Let me know if you have any question.

Looks great. Who did you order from? Did you mount yours with self-tapping screws? If so, do you think the remaining holes will be visible when you decide to part out in the future?

Most F10 lips install the same way, where hardware is used underneath the car so no holes will be exposed(visibly unless you look for them under the car) upon removing the lip.

I received the front lip yesterday and I had to send it back today. The lip was bent out of shape and a few corner were cut incorrectly. My shop said that they'll have to do some modifications to it for them to be able to install it since it has to many flaws and that for the amount of money that I needed to spend for it was not worth it, I concurred.
I order this on E-bay so it doesn't surprise me, at least the vendor agreed to give me a refund so no harm done. The original 3D lip goes for around $1,200, so for the same amount of money I'm thinking of upgrading to the OEM M-Sport bumper.
