20" HRE FF01's on '14 AW 550i

Just got these Awesome FF01's installed this week. they are 20 X 9's and 20X 10's with MIchelin A/S 3's 255/35/20 and 285/30/20. Fit is perfect flush w/fenders and ride is excellent. Better than the 351's with FRT by far.

Thx guys! not interested in dropping. I think it looks just right. plus my driveway is steep and I have to crawl up it so I don't rip the bottom of the bumper. i already had that problem on my E60 550i

Can you post a pick from the side with the BMW caps in? I'm curious as to how that would change the look.

Sorry man, caps are not easy to pry off unless I take the wheels off and pop them off from the inside out. not risking damage trying to pop them off with a screwdriver. Photoshop anyone?

Do you notice a difference in handling compared to the 19's? Im looking into ditching the 19s and good year LS2's on my '13 535xi.

I would say so!
Not sure what has the bigger impact but both lighter rims and lighter tires with less side wall contribute to better handling on the f10 IMHO.

Yes, by far better everything. Much Lighter wheels + wider/lighter non RFT's = superior ride and handling.

Thx

Fronts are 20 X 9 ET 25
Rears are 20 X 10 ET 40

If you to HRE's website they will give you available options for size of wheels and offsets based on the model of the vehicle

Nice wheels. I'm looking at the Pilot A/S 3's as well in the same size. What is your opinion of them so far? Ive heard some people complain about them being loud.

I wouldn't classify them as being loud although they are noisier than the stock RF Pirelli's. I also anticipated more road noise considering I went 20". The trade off is a much better ride and handling. I was up in the NC mountains earlier this week and had a chance to push the car into the the corners and I was very pleased with the performance.
