Beautiful cars! And loving those subtle badge changes. What grille are you getting?
What are the specs on tyres and rims? Staggered or square setup? I assume those are 8.5 and 9 x19s. Is your xdrive lowered or factory ride height? Do you have adaptive drive- electronic dampers or regular dampers? Trying to gauge what setup you have because car looks great and I have an xdrive stock and wondering if 19s will look good.

not sure I'll change the grills, if I do it will probably be the gloss black single slat version vs. the double slat version. I bought the car as a CPO; I believe everything is stock. Square setup on tires @ 245/40 - 19. The wheels are the "19" La. wheels V-spoke Style 366". I haven't measured but I suspect the sizing you show is correct. The tires have a few miles left, and when I replace the run flats I'll go with the Continental DWS 06's just like I have on my X5 - they are so much better than the RFT's. No mods that I'm aware of on the suspension. I happen to think the 19" look just fine, sort of like Goldilocks....the 18" - too small, the 20" - too big To each his own; I'm beyond the age of showing off for others, this stuff is for me

Looking good but hit up those exhaust tips next time.
Looks like you skipped cleaning them. Also +1 for single slat gloss black grills. They will look really good.

I continue to go back and forth in my mind on the grills. I know the all black look will look cool, but there's something to be said for a bit of contrast. Fortunately I'm planning on keeping the car for a while, so I've still got time to make up my mind. there are bigger issues in life than the color and look of grills

For exhaust tips, there are couple of tips and tricks. Usually soap and water clean them up pretty good. But if they are bad: -You can use a wheel cleaner (make sure you do not spray any on your bumper) and brush them after -Mother's Stainless Steel Polish Or if they are really bad -Steel Wool Pads. They will look brand new again.

Gorgeous rides...both of them!
I wanted my wife in an X5 also but she had her heart set on a Mercedes GL and I can't say I blame her. It's loaded with luxury and while I prefer the sportiness of the X5, her GL is an amazing vehicle!

For us it was between the X5 and the MB GL. Wife didn't really like it - too much of a boat (her words, not mine). I couldn't get past the gear selector near the steering wheel, I'm afraid I'd knock it out of drive the first time it rained!!

While not as sporty as the X5, I've driven it pretty aggressively and it handles we'll for a vehicle that large and tall. The 4Matic is great and the air ride suspension firms up at speed. We bought ours 4 years ago and I want to get her into a GL63 or X5M next since we have twins graduating next year but she doesn't want an "upgrade" so we might keep it.
