Painting the silver bumper trim (pre-LCI, non-M-Sport)
Hey,
I am thinking about spray painting the silver bumper trims on my F11 and I was wondering, you people who have done it, what paint did you use? Just regular (matte)black spray paint? Or automotive spray paint? How about sanding? Is it required? TLDR: - What spray paint? - Sanding required? Thanks! |

It can also be called Adhesion Promoter I believe made by SEM. Check out paintscratch.com, they have some good info on there. Painting the inserts might be a fun, low-risk project to get you started in painting! A lot of these paint vendors will also sell you the base coat of the specific BMW color code so you can do body-matched trim and such.
