Well if you want to run MHD Stage 2+ you need exhaust, dp, CP, intake, new colder plugs and IC. If you have FBO than you're good to go without having to upgrade fuel pump and bigger turbos. I would highly suggest browsing the MHD threads here for more info from the guys who have already done this

I thought that MHD alone is great, but my car was really transformed after I've installed XHP trans tune. Turbo and fuel pump upgrades will get you to about 550hp on N55, maybe even more, I've seen people getting over 600hp with turbo, fuel pump upgrade and custom tune. At that point, the question is, should you save the money and invest in used M3/M4/M5 and get much more power from the get go? |

When you flash you trans with XHP, flash it with stage 3 at least. Here are supported stages for my car:
535i xDrive Sedan Stage 1 - Added Gear-Display in D-Mode - Removed Torque Limiters in 3rd and 6th Gear - Raised Line Pressure in high torque situations (> 442 ftlb) 535i xDrive Sedan Stage 2 - Added Gear Display in D-Mode - Removed 3rd and 6th Gear Torque Limit - Raised Line-Pressure mapping for high-input torque - Reconfigured DEC Logic, with similar logic as in M-Cars (access to more shifting-modes) - Even faster shifting in M/Sport+, absolutely instant paddle response - Recalibrated Shift-Points in D & S Mode to improve throttle response - No automatic upshifting in M/Sport+ setting - Transmission keeps the current set mode when DSC is turned off - Launch Control enabled (update of DSC, DME eventually necessary as well on 2012 cars) - Retains full ECO - Mode functionality including Coasting 535i xDrive Sedan Stage 3 - Added Gear Display in D-Mode - Removed 3rd and 6th Gear Torque Limit - Raised Line-Pressure mapping for high-input torque - Reconfigured DEC Logic, with similar logic as in M-Cars (access to more shifting-modes) - Even faster shifting in M/Sport+, absolutely instant paddle response - Very strong blips on downshifts - Recalibrated Shift-Points in D & S Mode to improve throttle response - No automatic upshifting in M/Sport+ setting - Transmission keeps the current set mode when DSC is turned off - Launch Control optimized (update of DSC & DME eventually necessary as well on 2012/2013 cars) - Retains full ECO - Mode functionality including Coasting 535i xDrive Sedan Stage 4 - Identical to Stage 3 map, but sports a true Race-Map in S/Sport+. Shifpoints are setup in a way you can leave the transmission in full Auto-Mode on Circuit. Have fun!!! |

"There is no increased wear on the clutch pack, as long as you follow the recommendations of the manual about the different modes listed in chapter 4, page 13 and the workload, starting chapter 5, page 15. https://www.xdelete.app/fileadmin/user_upload/xdelete/xdelete_manual.pdf" If you have information about increased wear of transfer case components, please let me know. All tunes are pushing the boundaries of the hardware they are made for, so I wouldn't be surprised if there is potential issue with transfer case components. To their credit MHD and XHP support their tunes working together so there is interoperability which is supposed to reduce increased wear of related components. |

Also, before you install XHP, you should probably reset throttle body adaptation and drive the car for a little bit so you can see the how it performs before trans flash.
I've found this on another thread: 1) hit start button once to turn on power (Don't start the engine) 2) then press the accelerator down to the floor for 5 sec 3) then hit start button once to turn off power 4) then remove foot from accelerator 5) then wait for 2 minutes (I waited 30 sec and it seems to work) 4) then start the engine like normal and try it out! |

Hey bud. Thanks for the info. Do you have any instructions on how you got those customizations done? Is that all in trans tune or some of it from BimmerCode/e-sys config type a thing? Edit: never mind, did some more research... all part of tune. sorry.
