Alternator INPA ???
Hello,
any idea what is wrong.... Batteristrom !-... The car runs ok, I replace timing chain and at first run I empty battery, charged it overnight, and car starts ok....voltage is ok....any idea? |

If this is an F10, you might be better using newer tools (e.g. ISTA+).
Assuming I'm reading the German properly --- If your voltage is 14.3VDC when running and the "!-4.48A" is indicating that the battery is being discharged, it's possible that your IBS (battery / energy monitoring) module is bad or confused. Assuming the car is running independently and there is no battery charger connected, there is no way the system could maintain 14.3VDC while drawing 4.5A from the battery. I would expect to see system voltage in the 12s if that were true. Perhaps try a complete battery disconnect to reboot everything again. You might also need to start troubleshooting the IBS system if that doesn't change anything |
