F11 535 xd dynamic damping control failure

Hi y'all,

I've got some problems with Dynamic Damping Control.
Car is F11 535 xd

Mechanic changed wheels. Shortly after at one time I've got "Cornering ability restricted" on the dashboard and "Dynamic Damping Control failure" on center screen. This looked like it happened randomly when changing from drive to reverse. Error persisted for half a day until I drove through a small bump and error disappeared.

However this error would occur occasionally I would say at random times and would instantly disappear (you would hear infamous bmw chime and error would appear on the screen).

Currently this error seems to be permanent and it does not disappear. This locks out different adaptive drive modes (only comfort is mode is available).

Today I've checked active errors and found these:

Central Gateway Module
2 errors
801C60: Flexray autolearn not ok
801C20: Central fault memory full

Vertical Dynamics Management
1 error
D754F0: Message (2.0.1, status bike node HR): not received

Damper satellite, rear left
1 error
F2EC06: FlexRay signal error - state road

Integrated automatic heating / air conditioning system
1 error
8011BB: Stratification potentiometer on the right: short circuit to plus or interruption

Damper satellite, front left
1 error
F26C06: FlexRay signal error - state road

Damper satellite, front right
1 error
F2AC06: FlexRay signal error - state road

It's interesting how three damper satellites are showing errors. Anyone have any ideas what could be happening there?

Hi, Have you solved your Dynamic damping control errors? If not i can help you. I have a BMW 525D Xdrive with the same problem. I have repaired and my car works fine now.You can get many weird errors when you have problem with your level sensors. Your BMW has 4 levels sensor on your wheel well. Overtime the level sensor balljoints get rust and the balljoint do not move up and down freely. In front wheel well you have a level sensors each side.Unscrew 2 10mm screw and take loose the sensor. Use force to loose the balljoint. Use steel wool and polish the balljoint clean for rust. Use a strong rust remover to clean the plastic stag hulls. Use a polygrip plier to press the balljoint back in place. Spay some waterresistant oil on balljoint. remember all balljoint must move freely without friction. Do the procedure for all 4 sensors. Use a scan tool and erase all error codes. The rust will come back and you need to do the same service again.

First let us look a errors:
801C60: Flexray autolearn not ok
801C20: Central fault memory full
You need to bring your car to BMW specialist workshop to erase this two messages using Ista+.
Secondly you must either invest in 4 new level sensors or do cleaning service on all 4 level sensors. I am quite sure your level sensors are full of rust and the balljoints are stucked and do not move up and down freely. I have send you a description on how to do the service on your car. I have done it on my car BMW 525D Xdrive. Now after the service all adaptive mode is working perfect. No more error Dynamic damping control failure anymore, no more error on EDC satellites, no more error on VDM. The car power is back. I am trying to help you. I have used a lot of time to help you. I hope you can give me feedback.
