Google Chrome problems with Hotmail and Ebay

So for a while I've not been able to access hotmail or ebay on chrome. When I go to the webpages the page wont load at all and a "Save as" dialogue box pops up trying to save the webpage as .aspx files.

Sometimes I can get access but it happens totally random. Other times the pages load but a lot of coding comes up on the page and I have no access at all. What's the deal with this? I've already tried virus/malware scans.

I have no issue with ebay on chrome.

As for hotmail. Hotmail was taken over by MSN, so technically hotmail.com doesnt exist anymore. Perhaps that is your issue?

Hotmail wasn't taken over. It was first MSN Hotmail, and now called Windows Live Mail. Just a name change - it has always been owned by Microsoft.

MS is known to make their services work best with IE and not care about any other browser. So that might be your problem, though Hotmail has never given me any issues with Chrome (nor has eBay).

Are you running the latest version?

I was pretty sure hotmail was bought by MSN. Seems I was right, just my time table was a bit askew.
