Took advantage of what I thought was warmer weather to get some full temp oil flowing through the 911. Turns out it was only 37F out there and the top down approach wasn't my best idea. The wind deflector, heated seats and steering wheel helped, but I finally succumbed and put the top up when i was half way home.

There is nothing better than fine dining whilst being able to see your car whilst you eat. Even if the dining is not fine at all it becomes fine dining because you can gaze at the one you love.

such a beautiful design. I could make an argument that it's one of my top 3 for pretty cars to look at in the modern era. My heart really wanted me to get a V8V manual 'vert instead of the 991.2, but my head (and wallet and wife) prevailed.

Perhaps a final form V12VS or V8GTS roadster are in your future one day. The 12 manual is rapidly going nutso pricing though. Late V8 manuals also doing well. Both very reliable cars as they had 12 years to iron out all the bugs. Actually any of the 2012 onwards are super solid as long as they had decent custodians. |

You jokingly say we could start another thread. It would probably happen if I brought your idea back to the 8er forum. In addition to the typical "Random shot of your 8 series" thread, we also have: Head on thread Rearview thread Sideview thread Parking lot thread Lights on thread and, I kid you not, the Rainy Tuesdays Under a Bridge Thread (Not a super long thread, possibly due to its narrow specificity) https://f92.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1981254 We're easily bored in the winter. |

I should have bought an EVO 9 when I test drove one when they came out. I suck.
