Oh, for those of you who don't know. The guy grimmy was referring to is me. I always said give and take.

If you really want a bigger rim, try the OEM 18" or 19". It look prefect without lower. As RC said, you need to lower to match the aftermarket rim.

Thanks for the advice. If I have the Dynamic Damper control option, can I still lower with just changing the springs?

Agreed, take a look of the 328, 331, 350M or 351M @ below link.

OEM rims look classy and executive without the lowering.

I think the answer is yes, mlai did that on his 550i with Dynamic Damper.

Definitely yes. Which F10 model are you ordering? How much is the DDC option?

Cool. On BMWHK website price list, there is no 528i N20 yet. But the news already released the price. There is a 530i on the price list though. Not sure whether it is just a renaming of the 528i I-6 engine left over stock.

Jason, an US member here also had DDC but he swapped it with KWV3. He said the KWV3 is better than the DDC. I haven't tried the DDC so I can't comment. FYI KWV3 around HK$20k. But if you don't wanna mess around with the warranty then it's better to go with the DDC.

I think the price of 528i is already in BMWHK's website. As I heard from my salesman, there was actually a few 2011 N20 528i sold in HK already. Anyone has a N20 528i here?

Yeah, I don't want to modify anything with the F10 except for the wheels or maybe the whiteline tail lights....as the stock 17" looks kind of "too" small. In my E90, I have changed to a sport suspension kit. However, I don't really drive fast and doing mostly city driving. After a while, I felt kind of stuck to the "sport-only" setting. That's why I chose the DDC option over the M-sport suspension option.

What color is your car. People have mixed review on the whiteline. But to each his own I guess.

KWV3 is actually very comfortable and adjustable. Could be even softer than the stock. But improved tremendously on body roll. The stock suspension without DDC is crazy, drives like a boat. I have come from stock to H&R sport springs and now KWV3. H&R has improved quite a bit from the stock. KWV3 is just fantastic though.

I ordered Space grey. I hope the stock suspension with DDC is not too "boat-like"

Mlai's experience is DDC with the stock springs is still floating. After swapping to ACS springs he is very satisfied. You can get ACS at BMW with warranty

You mean this?

http://www.bmwhk.com/com/en/newvehicles/prp/index.html

Think they made a mistake on the engine description of the new 528. Can someone tell what exactly is the 530?
