I am in Basingstoke (Hampshire). If you fancy a trip, let me know and I can code it for you...

You are welcome. Meanwhile, build up a list of things you wish to be coded.

I'm new to this forum so apologies in advance if I've got the wrong end of the stick here but did you ever organise a coding session in the North?
I've recently got 1yo 525d and loving the car but hate the halo's plus headlight combo.....can adjusting the coding turn the headlight off? Currently running with sidelights on to get same effect but could do with light switch being on auto with just from halo's on in daytime then putting usual night time lights on when sun sets? Can anyone help? If you do organise a session in the North let me know |

There hasn't been any session anywhere. I am based in South (Hampshire). I will be happy to do a session if I have an opportunity to come to the North.
I am not a professional/ commercial coder, I do this for fun and my own learning. I do travel quite a bit, so if I am ever travelling up North, I will post my plans and would be happy to code/ help people understand coding, etc... So far, no upcoming plans.

Please do let me know if you get North of Birmingham and I'd happily travel to meet you to help with coding out the undesirable quirks. I've no experience with this type of thing so I'd happily send you back with few crates of beer or similar as a thanks?!?! Is there anyone else in the North potentially up for this? - if there's a few of us we could make it a worth while trip for gspannu.....bit of a booze cruise |

Gspannu,
I'm just up the M3 near Ascot. Would be very grateful for a coding session with you. Got a 2012 528i M Sport, what changes would you recommend to the standard code? |

Bluetooth coding
Quote:
I have a 520d LCI which has pro media but does not have the enhanced bluetooth. I understand that on LCI cars this is a coding change. Would you be interested in coding this change and rear DRL for me? Thank you. |

DRL coding is quite simple. I am not too sure about Enhanced Bluetooth coding (have not done it myself as I ordered this in my own car), but if you know what needs to be coded, I can definitely do it. PM me when you wish to come around...

Not too sure about the Enhanced Bluetooth.... but sports displays should either be already enabled (in LCI cars) or can be done by setting both EFF_DYN_SPORT_CID and EFF_DYN_SPORT_UNIT to aktiv. These should be under HU_CIC module (possibly within 3000 HMI).

Sorry to throw in a spanner ! I am travelling extensively for the next 6 months (multiple out of UK trips planned - all work related), so chances of me coming up North are very limited. However, if I was to make a business trip up North; I will post the dates as soon as I know and maybe something can be worked out. Please do not plan anything otherwise. Thanks...
