Snowboard Rack Mounting & Fairing recommendations

I have a 550i xdrive with an oem BMW base support system as a roof rack/crossbars. I picked up a Thule Flattop 6 for dirt cheap (an older model) and with the older style mounts/clamps, I can't attach it to my roof rack. Anyone have any ideas or what have you done to attached Thule Snowboard Holders to your oem rack?

Same question for fairing, but have not yet picked up a fairing. I drove around with the racks on and theres not a TON of whistling, a bit above 50mph but if I dont have the radio on louder, it's quite noticeable.

bump any ideas? I thought of using a flush mount system (http://www.orsracksdirect.com/thule-...apter-kit.html) but i have this black weather strip over it. Any ideas on if i needa keep it or kinda just take it off? I don't know if it serves much of a purpose but it came with the rack so i just left it on
