Musicar Level Two in F10 w/676

Had a friend bring in her F10 the other day for an audio upgrade. We had installed a nice Zapco system in her E39 with DSP. In this instance, we didn't go with a true trunk sub, just the underseat woofers (I won't call them subs, they are woofers but not subwoofers, dammit).

We used a Mosconi D2 80.6 DSP processor/amplifier to power Morel MT230 tweeters, H4 100mm-class midranges, and Jehnert XE200 8" woofers - all with Musicar PnP, bolt-on prep.

The 80.6 has time arrival correction, crossover filtering, mixing and routing, and user-definable (i.e., "parametric") equalization. We ran the HiFi signal straight in.

There's enough room on our amp plate to go with various combinations of electronics.

Steel mounting ring is a Musicar exclusive.

The woofer did require a bit of trimming of tabs on the floor inside the enclosure for proper fit.

Any plans to develop a corner sub box or similar for those who are looking to add a sub? How do you think the door speakers would sound with stock top hifi amp?

Without upgrading the amp I would think it would sound better than stock ...but these speakers you wanna power them. The corner sub box you can always get one custom made

Yes, we do have those plans.

The top HiFi amp isn't designed to deal with true two-way crossovers. They sound better, but not as good as they should for the money.
