Does the technic harness work with top hifi system in the f10 with the optical inputs? I want to replace the stock amp and I don't want to use any plug and play amps I already have my own amps.

Yes he does. There's 2 versions available. One for the Hifi system and one for the Top Hifi which i believe includes a LOC. Contact him directly for pricing.

I just heard from technic and I don't have the option to use thier harness to replace my stock amp. It looks like bimmer tech amp is my only way to get away from the stock amp and its pre set crossed over signal.

pretty much what i was going to do Teddy. the Bimmertech puts out plenty of power but for your setup i think you were looking for more power correct? but than again you said you were gonna leave your factory components in for the time being. got a response from Nelson and he linked me to where you can get the manual from for the subwoofer setup. this makes setting my system up pretty easy. i've read countless threads in the beginning where guys were trying to find the sub signal and it seemed like a big headache and a lot of hacking up of the factory wires. i believe the Bimmertech amp already comes with the harness too and you can still run your external amps off of it.

I got the bimmertech amp. I got to say I was very disappointed when I first installed it (loss a lot of bass & mid's) after I got a computer & started to tune it it sound a lot better, but only 55 watts on under seat woofers! Not really cutting it! So I added my JL audio subs. Now I think I shouldn't of upgrade those woofers? Too bad Helix P six dap was not a 7 channel amp!!!! w/120 watts!!! I think that would be perfect!

Same here but after I hooked it up to a computer I found a nice balance for me. I can send u the tuning file later if you like. The helix p six unit is perfect but you just have to lose the center channel

I'm willing to give up my center but is there a harness that can be used with the Helix? Any links to this Helix amp you guys keep talking about?

You can google it(helix p six) crutch field has it. Not sure about the harness though

got it. here it goes. remove the pdf extension at the end and then upload into the program by right clicking on setup A and then locate the tune

Yea! But I think helix have a better DSP than the bimmertech! Helix is higher end than match, but Brax is the top end! If you want it do your system right & much happier I think you should go with helix! If you don't care of center. Just don't do the sub under the seats & use the money for helix!

Msfive the bimmertech unit is made by helix lol it actually IS a helix match pp82dsp unit that uses the same dsp software as the helix p six.

That's true..the p six just has a lot more power so overall a more powerful audio system in the end
