Installing 550 Msport mufflers on a 535 Msport? Easy or Not?

Thinking about retrofitting a pair of 550 Msport mufflers onto my 535 Msport.

Wondering if anyone has done this before and are there any secrets?

Do they fit properly and are the hangers in the correct locations, etc?

I've already picked up a used Diffuser and will be looking for a nice clean

pair of used mufflers, if I can find any.

If it's a PITA then I won't bother.

Any pictures available.

Cheers

hp jnkey , I did checked all the hangers, they all uses the same part numbers between 535 and 550.
I am on the same project as you know it.
The only different is the diffuser and the pipe size. I'm not too sure about the bend.
I am still waiting for my bumper to be painted before I can start doing the fitting.

When you say 550i M sport muffler. I thought all the mufflers for the 550 were the same, and if so, it will make your car quiet. Don't expect any exhaust sounds.

I like the looks of the wide single tip.
Not too concerned about it being too quiet.
Might do a dual quad on the stock 535 mufflers instead.

Seen a post about this a few weeks ago.

I like that idea too but would want to do black tips to match the stock Msport muffler tips and ones that don't stick out any further than stock.

You say they are staggered.
Do you have a pic from the top looking down?

Great job.

This is what they look like from above. Staggered and angled. Getting mine installed this week.

Yes, they are staggered. I had them installed flush with Diffuser as I do not like them protruding, so from Top looking down, you won't see them.

If it's not a big deal, could you take a picture of the tips from the top looking down but on your car.
They look really good but I don't want them to stick out any more than the stock tip.
Wonder if the car would get more quiet or choked up with 550 mufflers?
I like quiet and if hopefully they are no more restrictive than the 535 mufflers.

I like quiet but don't want it to loose any hp.
As you can see here, I cut the Tips flush on the inlet side where it begins to branch into two outlets so they would be flush with Diffuser when installed:

Already bought a pair last week but I'm sure there are others
who might want them.
Thanks
