Overdue M sport Conversion

Finally got it done, absolutely admiring the transformation. Almost a different car in my opinion. So glad I went with OEM instead of replica after contemplating for quite a while. Big thanks to Jason at Tischer, excellent guy to deal with. As for paint and installation, Jon and Tommy @ Coleman's couldn't have done it any better. The professionalism, exceptional customer service they provide is definitely top notch.

Can you share what the cost was? PM if you don't want to say publicly. We have a Modern line coming in 3 weeks and this is one of the first things we want to do. Would have ordered an M-Sport but could not get the interior the way we wanted.

Your car looks awesome!

It's well worth the money in my opinion. I am also looking to pull the trigger on the M-Sport conversion. We have the same car and I also live in NJ, so I am very interested to know where you got your parts and which shop you used.

Did you upgrade the side skirts and rear bumpers as well?

I did just the front bumper. Refer to my original post for which shop and vendor I used.

Looks very nice mate! I was shocked to see it was $2K for just the front bumper, but it definitely makes it look like a different car.

$2k for just the front? Whew! A bit more than I expected. It does look great though. So to do the frt, back, rocker panels and shadow line trim would have to be $5k+?

I'm in the middle of doing the full kit and it looks like it is going to be 4k installed.

All I can say is modding isn't cheap, especially a BMW. I am sure all of us are well aware of that.

Garage List
$2000 for the fronts alone sounds a bit excessive. Getbmwparts has all the parts, front, sides, rear and all other parts needed for the install for about $2k. I'm sure any rebutable body shop can paint and install it for $600. When i had my e60 i got the entire parts from husker bmw for $1200 and install & paint was $500. This was in 2012.

I did get the kit from getbmwparts, there was an additional $175 for freight shipping. I am happy with the shop, I didn't mention I also had them paint the side reflectors and kidney grilles. Best part is their loaner, this is what differentiates their business from others.

Got pricing from local dealer today and they want $4k+ just for parts to do frt, back, sides and shadowline trim. The shadowline trim was $900 by it self!

May have to call Jason at Tischer to see if he can help with the parts cost.

Shadow line trim is 900? Wow that's steep! Tischer I believe has the best price for the kit, local dealers wouldn't even bother to price match.
