M Performance Rear Spoiler
My 5er came with the M sport plus package so included the rear spoiler in body colour.
So,I decided to remove it to install the CF M performance one in its place. First step to remove existing spoiler. It's only stuck down with 3M tape, but it's tough stuff!!

I got a bit of help from my son and daughter to remove the residue.
To remove the spoiler I just used what you can see on the trunk lid. The plastic trim tools to prise the spoiler free and cut through the adhesive. Then it just pulls off. To remove the residue I had some hot soapy water and some of this stuff. In between using this and scraping off and washing it took a while, probably about an hour worth of messing around. No damage to the paint work which is always good. Now I just need to get some betalink or good 3M tape to put the M performance spoiler on.

Spoiler install this evening with a bit of help again from my son. Getting him involved for future modding.

Will leave tape and curing overnight and tomorrow when I pull the tape off, hopefully the spoiler won't come with it!!

So did you use tape or betalink for the install?

I did have some 3M tape left over from my roof spoiler install, but couldn't get a good adhesion with the tape on the spoiler. My wife has taken the car out this morning, but left the tape on. Hopefully the car returns with the spoiler still attached.

If that epoxy is as strong as the betalink, it's never coming off.

Spoiler is well and truly fixed.
Nice high kick on the M performance one compared to the original install.
