Question Active Sound for the 5 Series

does the 5 series come with the active sound for the exhaust?

I doubt it, but could it be coded in?

is the module already in place to make it happen?

I thought it was just M5's so I never touched the coding, but have recently read about some 4's owners messing around with ASD.

I checked realoem for parts and the module is not there on my car.

You can see it clearly on the M5 and also M550d

Good know for sure. Thanks.

If anything, I would turn it off but would not want anything on my car to sound louder.

The 4 cylinders have ASD, the 535 and 550's do not. The ASD module is a hardware synthesizer mounted on the back side of the drivers side rear wheel well under the trunk liner.
