Rear tires locked?
I had a tire popped as I got home. I have a friend who has a 135i and asked to borrow his set so I could drive it to the mechanic. The car wheels just seem to be locked. Like the e brake is stuck on. I'm new to cars and don't aren't to mechanically inclined. It's a 550i m sport. The original rear tire size is 275/30/19 and my friends is 235/35/19. Would that cause the car to lock up?

I'm certainly no expert, but maybe an offset issue?

It is either hitting the brake caliper or one of the strut/ suspension pieces.
Don't drive it.

I suspect it is the traction control. Two different diameter tires on the same axle. This looks like a spinning tire to the computer. You could try turning off the DTC to see if that helps.

Why not just take the wheel to the tyre shop?

did the car ever move after the wheels were installed ?
If not the the wheels are hitting something, possibly the caliper.
