m5 diffuser installed....

took me about 1.5 hours start to finish.

One thing about having 2 kids, is i'm much more patient now than i was before i became a dad!

Comfort access worked before i reinstalled bumper cover, however now its not working. i'll have to get under the rear and check the connections again.

Also, I was careful when taking the nuts for the tail lights off to not drop them, well low and behold i dropped 2/4 of them when reinstalling the tail lights! LOL.

Planning on washing the car tomorrow and doing a proper photoshoot with my DSLR.

DIY's from AlanL and the others were awesome (thanks for those!!)

i ended up removing the entire bumper cover, so i could have proper access to the adapter behind the bumper cover.

Until now here are a few pics.

here's how it looked before

After

Looks great, nice work! A diffuser is next on my list, but I'm not sure what options I have with a 535 diesel msport (one sided exhaust)

Thanks!

you could do a fake dual exhaust setup (i'm sure others have done that) .

I wasn't planning on changing the diffuser out, but it became a requirement to do it after going with the m5 comp package exhaust.

You are making it hard to not buy an M5 rear for my Space Grey 550.. It is on the list, but you just knocked it up to the top. Looks beautiful!
Did you do the CA Carrier unit behind the bumper? I think a different part is required for the trunk to work again, documented here somewhere.

ISTurbo, 1st pic is his before, last pics are of the painted M5 diffuser.

Yes i did buy the CA adapter, and it worked before i put the bumper cover back on (i checked it after i installed the adapter etc)

i'll have to check the connections again, maybe i didn't plug a connector in or something. i'll try and do that later on today....

Looks good! I still have my M5 diffuser sitting in storage until I pull the trigger on a new exhaust
