I've got a 530d with sport seats, I keep hitting my elbow on the arm rest when steering, it's beginning to put me off the car as it feels like I'm being hemmed in by a bit of trim!

I have the seat quite low even though I'm not a tall chap (I'm not into riding gangsta, I just prefer it that way..) but this is driving me to the point where I want to get rid of the car & I've only owned it 2 weeks but I can get comfortable. Anyone else had this issue?

Haha.

Nothing really. Just did not worry about it and the pain disappeared. Guess the body adapted to it :-) But it was really annoying in the beginning.

Why dont you just set the seat higher or adjust the steering wheel?

I dont like sitting high in cars, but I have tried adjusting the seat & steering wheel loads, with no success. Funny thing is I had no issue on the test drive.

Why, don't you want the chicks to think you are tall, dark, and handsome?

Sit too low and they will think you are driving daddy's car.

I just don't, it's a preference I guess. I just feel more comfortable. My old man has a 320d, he is actually pretty jealous of my car!
