Beautiful chandelier?! Is that the first/only thing you noticed?
Anyway, it's interesting note the paddle shifters have "-" (left) and "+" signs. Unlike the other paddle shifters (e.g. 3er, Z4), I guess the left paddle is for downshifting and the right for upshifting? I don't really like the electronic shifters, but it's curious to see BMW changing the controls so often. I remember the last time they changed the steptronic shifter up and down shifters (not the paddles), and it confused the heck out of everyone. |

Man! The attention to detail on this vehicle is amazing! Lighted exterior doorhandles with texture ribs (which I presume are for your thumb...), the fantastic wheels, deep paint, and stern/purposful-appearing headlamp units with white halo rings. The two-tone ("oyster & black" ?) interior is simultaneously officious and luxurious. I'll leave the shift paddles and auto trans to the point-and-shoot crowd - I'm going for the manual!
Nice job, design team! |

and the lighted door handles are part of the light package/abmbient light which is available on other cars as well I find it amusing that they wrote "Twin Power Turbo" instead of "Twin Turbo Power",now that the N55 has one instead of two turbos. |

I have to say that the F10 is the best design for the 5er

I like the two engine bay braces, I guess they couldn't use the traditional strut tower brace now that they ditched the MacPherson strut setup. I don't remember seeing any other car with braces like this before.
