EBC Redstuff brake bads for 550i

Thinking of changing my OEM brake pads to the ebc redstuff. Has anyone done it before and can tell a difference?

I had them installed on my A8 and Camaro and the difference was noticeable right away, but could really tell when brakes were wet. The ebc ones just grab, no matter what the weather conditions are.

Or should i wait untill my free maintenance runs out to change them?

I would not change out the pads until the warranty expires. Not unless your are willing to pay for rotors should they become warped.
