This is what I'm using, it's a harbor freight aluminum 2 ton and its light weight. It has a lifting height of 16"3/8" and it wieghs 41lbs which is nice when moving or maneuvering around under your car, comparable steel is 71lbs. It was $179.00 but I got during a sale for around $139.00. I've had it for 2 years and it has lifted my 550 many times, no leaking no issues.

I have the 3 ton Pittsburgh jack which I bought on sale for $107 (with a three year warranty which replace the jack in case of issues no questions asked). Since I bought it about a month and change ago, I have lifted my F10 at least two dozen times plus a couple other cars/SUVs. The profile is low enough to get underneath my lowered F10 with ease and the design of the cup area of the jack nicely cradles my jack pad giving me the reassurance I need that my car would not slip off during lifting. BTW, this jack is what countless tire shops use so I figured if they can take that abuse it would be an easy life in my care !
