My local service station has 100 octane unleaded race gas on tap all the time. Haven't thought about using it until reading this thread. What's the best mix ratio using 93 octane with the BMS JB+ (N63TU) using default setting (11:00)? I have thought about bumping it to 12:00 using 93 octane, but since I don't have the ability to datalog, I decided not to chance it. Having the ability to use race gas has me thinking now. One other thing I need to check out is my local performance shop, they have a dyno and maybe they can do the datalog for me since they specialize in BMWs.

The best way to do it is on a dyno to see what is actually making more power. As far as mixture, it just depends how much more boost you want to add. If you just want a little more, a 93-95 mix is sufficient, but if youre going to add 2-3 lbs, id go straight 100 to be safe.

Yes, strapping your car onto a dyno to actually see what settings work is the best option. IF you are running anything less then 5psi over factory, you do not need any mix, 91 is more then sufficient for you. We are running 560hp/620ftlb on your N63tu with 91 pump gas without any issues at all.

These are great numbers, is this at the wheel? I run always run 93, really interested in what your are doing. Looking forward to checking out one of your "fly in" tuning opportunities on the East Coast (Maryland).
