How to Fix Scratched Console Display (iDrive)

How to fix LCD Scratched Display BMW Console (iDrive) or Navigation Screen

First Attempt: to buff out anti-glare film and buff out the scratches on 2010 BMW M3 Convertible: Worked perfectly...

Less than 30 minutes of work about 5 minutes on buffering; the longest time was spent on taking pictures and videos.

Required Tools:
1. Hex for two dash board screws. I don't know the size.
2. Small Phillip screw drive for 4 internal screws mounting.
3. Plastic polishing compound (fine)
4. Spray bottom for water or Nuvos spray shine bottle #1
5. Blue painters tape
6. Many lent free soft microfiber cloths
7. 3M headlight sponge polisher
8. Power drill

I'll make this quick:
Here are some pictures.
Videos to follow.

Finished Repair of Scratcged LCD Console (BMW Console)

TrueVue: Lexerd - 2010 BMW 128 135 335 328 M3 528 650 Z4 X5 X6 TrueVue Anti-glare Navigation Screen Protector.

*My initial review of the TrueVue Lexerd screen protector for my console display is fair quality. I'm looking for a better quality product. Any recommendation are welcome...You really don't need to use a screen protector, but it's better to be safe than sorry.

I hope this instructions were helpful and it saves you a lot of money. (Replacement screen is ~$3000)
if I can help you with this process please don't hesitate to ask and I may be willing to do it for you. Allen
