I've wanted to upgrade the brakes on my 520d for a while now after coming from cars with much better brakes so thought i'd try to stick with the OEM parts bin to make some improvements.

Looking at realOEM there is only 2 caliper/carriers for the front of the F10. The 6 cylinder and 8 cylinder cars are using the same caliper and carrier on the with only a different caliper and carrier on the 4 cylinder cars. The suspension carrier where the caliper mounts also has the same part number between all cars.

However there are 3 different brake discs between the 6 and 8 cylinder cars, I've not seen this before, can anyone confirm that RealOEM is correct and they are using the same caliper and if so how?
