Do what you think you'll enjoy more, neither is a bad place to be. If you have a knack for managing people and are organized enough to be an administrator, the benefits can be very rewarding. If you're creative and find aspects of marketing more interesting than managing, go with that.

Neither is better than the other, but an MBA is good to have.

IMHO, BA>Marketing.

Just like Biology>Psychology,

Liberal Arts > Communications

These days its all about your post graduate educations anyway. Masters, post. docs, Ph.d.

Me coming from the business world....there is no real difference when it comes to getting a good job afterwards. Marketing is a subset of business and when you read job postings online they usually as for a business related degree and are never specific.

So you can focus more on general business or focus more on the marketing aspect of business. I'd avoid getting a marketing degree from a Mass Communication school as it should come from a business school. Make sure your marketing program involves taking a lot of basic business classes.

Only advertising degrees should come from Mass Comm schools.

No degree is better than the other. You just gotta go in the field you like and hope that you can get a job with that degree. Nowadays it doesn't matter much what degree you have (marketing, management, international business, etc.).
