hard to believe it, but its true. my only logical explanation is that since the body of the car is not moving like a "boat", the engine is more efficient in carrying the car.
very custom choice.. any changes in offset? 21 do seem too large, 20 is perfect...
the 17 runflats on f10 weight 34-35 lbs ..9-10 more then 19 non-runflats! .. so if your larger rims are light or normal, u will still save gas this way too

Yeah I've been asking my sales guy if I can order the aerodynamic kit for the F10 and as of today, they still don't have it.

Anyone here knows where I can buy Continental tires in HK?

Yup! I heard from a few people these are quite good. I'm getting 19 x 8.5 for the front and 19 x 9.5 for the rears. Suggested tire size are 245/40 R19 and 275/35 R19. Not sure if they have these in 5P.

Checked their website and they only have 255/35 and 285/30

grimlock & ksquare,

just got my new rims installed on Sunday. already scratched one of them (2+ inches) after a few hours of driving. just wanna die.

luckily, my rim shop is willing to fix it for me free of charge. only takes a few hours and will pick it up tonight. he said it will be just like new. my rims are powder coated so only need to do some polishing and touch-up

will see if the result is good and let you know.

Just spoke to a BMW accessory sales person, M-sport body kit will cost HK$31,600 plus HK$14,000 installation. This is before RFT.

After full payment, they will order the kit which will take 2-3 weeks then another 1 week for installation.

Not a cheap body kit!

Update on Hong Kong Pricing for 2011 F10 builds:

Base prices are already up at the BMW webs.
However, most options are up HKD200-400 from 2010. The only exception being the rearview camera. It was 15,000 for 2010 F10s but now only 5,100 for 2011 F10s......

Adaptive Drive went from 35,000 to 36,300.

All in all, no big changes, small increases in options except for the rearview camera.

That's why nobody wants to retrofit the body kit at BMW. just do it outside, i think some mod shops can get it for you and save the RFT

Is that from BMW Hong Kong direct and with original warranty intact?
That's not too bad......

You can take a look at my pictures below showing nav information. In summary, I would say it is much much better than the external gps devices . It is responsive, reliable and very accurate even under bridges or surrounded by high-rise. More important. It is integrated and even works with the dashboard display. No match with cheap gps devices. You feel secured when led by robust nav. No regret for me.

For HKD70K (USD9K), the NAV oughta be real good. In fact, it should be able to drive itself

I would rather get a Garmin unit or use my HTC Desire HD for driving only in Hong Kong

PS. Have you tried getting a quote of map updates after warranty ends yet?
