How many have M5 rear lip/spoiler 550i?

Just got brand new 550i, amazing..sold my E46 M3

Wondering how many of you have added the M5 rear lip/spoiler?
Several for sale on ebay..versus OEM

Wondering what the the people that already have installed think about these spoilers..

I bought one from Ebay. Top quality. A guy I met with a 550i bought OEM one from dealer couldn't tell the difference and was so mad at himself for paying almost 4 times as much.

I think you can find one for about $100 50 $150 shipped/painted. As long as they are made in Taiwan, should be ok.

Be careful buying on ebay --- the don't always fit the car properly -- one side popping up -- and the paint sometimes doesn't match. I bought mine from JBSpeed on the forum, and I am very please with the fitment and the paintjob.

I bought one from Taiwan for my wife's 335i and it was the wrong color, and the fitment is off.

I went OEM. I've had mixed experiences with eBay sellers in the past.

With the amount I've spent on the car and mods it just seemed like something silly to be cheap with.

Sorry about your bad experience. I guess not all Taiwanese makers are good. But I think even a good US maker can sometimes make bad product accidentally.

I am pretty sure JBSpeed imports from Taiwan as well. But it's good that they are local seller and have good customer service.
