Remove Rear Reflectors on F10 M Sport?

Hello eveyone. Does anyone know how to remove the rear reflectors without damaging the rear bumper? I'd like to paint it to match my car. Thanks in advance...

Already threads on this topic. Search it. Use fishing line or dental floss. You can buy pre-painted reflectors online.

I haven't found the thread for removing the rear reflectors. What I do know is that there's at least 1 clip holding it. I looked under the bumper and I saw it but couldn't push it out.

If anyone knows how, we'd appreciate your input.

OK, I'll throw you a bone here...

I used a piece of heavy fishing line. Slip it behind the reflector on the end closer to the center of the vehicle and pull. This pic is of the left side reflector. I bought an extra set to paint.

How about getting the new one in? It looks like it should just snap in place but it doesnt. I know I bought the right one because it has the M package and the reflector I bought said it was for the M package.

Is there a trick to getting this too snap in place by chance?

Thanks

I actually did get this in. Had to bend the reflector to what almost felt like the point of breaking it and it all snapped into place.

I did this last year when I bought my F10. Super easy to do. I have plastic trim removal tools ($22 on Amazon for a case), so popped the reflector out within 10 sec.

The new reflector snapped directly in without bending or anything. Did both in under 2 min. Makes the rear look so much better

I added LED lights in place of the reflectors. I think they costed about $45. I tapped into my park/running light, brake and signal. I'll post a couple of pics after I swap my bumpers to M this weekend.

Haha, it was an eBay buy and they are cheaper now. They have smoked, clear and red lenses to choose from, there are also different lighting options now. I take some pictures this week of the install as well as what it looks like between a non-M bumper vs M bumper. Awesome buy though, I am yet to see any BMW's around my area with these lights.
