Exclamation hi i need a help

Hello friends, I have been thinking about buying a BMW 5 series for a long time. Is it appropriate to buy the car whose link I shared? Will it cause any malfunction or trouble for me? I drive about 3000 miles a month. I have no knowledge on these matters.

Unless you're a very handy DIYer, I'd buy a Toyota.

Buying ANY used car w/ 150k miles and then adding 36k miles per year is inevitably going to cause you problems. A used BMW even moreso than most brands.

+1 to the Toyota recommendation. Or even a Honda, imo.

Try to avoid buying from a dealer... you have no idea what you're getting. Find a private party sale for what you want. Pay more, and get lower miles. Do you do your own work? Do you have time and desire to learn? If no to all those, then don't get a high mileage BMW. You will be miserable and broke. Also the F10s are great on the highway, but big and heavy around town. So if you're going to be doing a lot of city driving in that 3k/month, consider a three series if you really want BMW. Otherwise a hybrid Accord is the best option!

If you buy a 5 series I’d recommend the 535i as its shown to be the most reliable or even a 540 as it’s even more reliable with the b58, I’d look at something at most 70-80k miles as it won’t destroy your pockets off the bat. And I would buy from a private seller with receipts that it was well taken care of and not neglected. If you go with 535i, try looking 2014 or higher as it comes with more reliability aka no rod bearing issues. If you buy this car, if you take care of it, it will take care of you. Especially if you just plan on having it as a regular vehicle and not modified, it’ll be fine. My car is heavily modified and it has been pretty solid in the serious side of things. No misfires or nothing on my end and mine is a 2011 lol. It wouldn’t hurt either if you can get dirty with a rat he’s for little things like filters or solenoids, sensors etc. like I said, take care of it and it’ll take care of you.
