N55 rebuild options

Hello everyone, some of you on here might be familiar with me, as I recently have been having rod bearing issues with my 2011 f10 535i. I am currently pulling my motor, and I was wondering if anyone had any advice on what rebuild kit to get, or if I should even get a kit. I am competent at rebuilding, so that won't be a issue. What I'm worried about is staying under 3k for this rebuild. Another couple questions I have: Can you hone a n55 lightly? What bolts can be reused? Can I used silicone on the bed plate surface? Thanks. Really appreciate any responses.
